April 11 12:00 PM Update
Seems like the rain is going to continue off and on throughout the day, without enough of a window to have a meaningful practice. Therefore all practices are CANCELLED today.

Looks like it will at least rain through the early afternoon so all 1st and 2nd grade sessions are CANCELLED. We will send another update on 3rd grade and up before 12 PM.

April 10 Saturday Night Update

Due to the high probability of rain late tomorrow morning/early tomorrow afternoon we are CANCELING T-ball and the Coaches Session. As of now we are NOT canceling the 1st grade and up sessions yet, since there is a possibility of a break in the rain during the afternoon. But that may also change as the weather develops tomorrow.

West Hempstead Shuls Little League - April Update
All, I hope this e-mail finds you all safe and healthy. After some discussion we have decided to CANCEL this season of the West Hempstead Shuls Little League. It was not an easy decision but I am sure you would all agree that health should be the number one priority. We hope that this year is very much an outlier, and that we will never have to deal with this problem again. We are currently working on the logistics but we do plan to refund everyone's registration fees, minus the small PayPal service charge incurred as part of registration. However, we are also offering all parents to pre-register for the 2021 season. Due to costs incurred this season it is very likely that we will RAISE registration fees next year so we are offering you the opportunity to lock in registration for next year at THIS YEAR'S rates. For those parents who choose this option, we will not refund your registration and just roll the money over toward the registration for next season. Also, if you registered after the early bird special and would like to pre-register for next year, we will give you the early bird special for next year AND refund you the difference between the regular registration fee and the early bird fee. In order to process all refunds we have created a Google form: In this form you have the option of selecting a full refund or to pre-register for next season. Each family should fill out ONE form, regardless of how many children were registered to play. Please fill out the form by MAY 15. If you do not fill out the form by MAY 15 we will assume that you will want to use this year's registration fee to pre-register for next season. Summer/Fall League There is a possibility of running a summer or fall league this year. It is still too early to say whether this will definitely happen or not but if you are interested in either one we ask that you say so in the Google form above.
